Hello, and welcome to my blog!  I am a physician with a strong interest and a lot of personal experience in finance and investing.  I bought my first share of stock in high school a couple of years before the 2008-2009 big market crash.  Needless to say, I have made many many investing mistakes, but I have also learned a ton in regard to the market, buying stock, shorting stock, using simple option strategy strategies, and more complex option strategies.  Experience is the best teacher!

I am also a physician.  For any up-and-coming physicians slogging through medical school or residency or any prospective student looking to go to medical school, I have a ton of stories and pointers I would love to share with you!  Much like your own journey, mine has been filled with highs and lows.  I and many of my colleagues have also seriously contemplated a career change at points.  But I won’t delve into that here.  As a physician, I think its very important to know even just a little bit about money.  It will save you so many headaches!

Personally, I love poker, basketball, video games of all kinds, Star Wars, Star Trek (TNG), Pokemon, fast cars, traveling, and lifting weights.  I’m a bit of a nerd as you can probably tell already. 

Anyways, at the core of it all, I also enjoy teaching.  And I hope to use this platform to share knowledge and experiences for those who may one day benefit from it.  Everyone’s journey is different, but we can all learn from one another!
